    Automated releases for a wealth-management platform

    Challenge
    Manual release steps made a core wealth-management platform difficult to change. The bank needed end-to-end automation that worked within its change controls and could be supported in production.
    Approach
    Releases were automated, with the infrastructure defined in version-controlled code. Public endpoints were secured and monitored, and each change followed the bank’s approval process. The engineers continued to support the platform in production alongside the bank’s teams.
    Result
    Releases were automated from end to end, with continued production support from the engineers who built the platform.

    Graph analytics for bank analysts

    Challenge
    Bank analysts needed to trace circular payment chains and run ranking queries across warehouse data. They needed quick answers without keeping graph compute running between investigations.
    Approach
    Working alongside the cloud provider’s partner team, we built private graph workspaces for analysts. Each workspace loaded data exported from the warehouse and shut down after use. A self-service dashboard and SDK gave access to a choice of graph engines. The platform reached production through the bank’s own delivery process.
    Result
    Measured queries in this engagement returned in under 10 ms, with each workspace started when needed and shut down after use.

    Weekly releases with automated security checks

    Challenge
    A digital banking programme needed weekly releases and additional releases when required, on a private platform with security checks built into delivery.
    Approach
    Delivered through the bank’s digital agency, the work established a consistent release process through development, pre-production and production. Automated security checks had to pass before a release could proceed. The underlying clusters were consolidated to reduce cost.
    Result
    Weekly releases ran on a consolidated platform, with automated security checks in every delivery pipeline.

    One release platform for payment systems

    The company wanted to move its software delivery pipelines onto a single platform while continuing to release changes to its payment systems.
    Approach
    The delivery pipelines were redesigned around Harness, then migrated in coordination with the engineering teams. Support continued throughout the move.

    The delivery pipelines moved to Harness, with every team supported through the change.
