Privacy policy

How we handle website visits and enquiries. Last updated 5 November 2026.

Who we are

Vio Engine is a trading name of Vioah Solutions Limited, registered in England and Wales with company number 12034605. We are the data controller for the personal information described in this policy. For a privacy question or request, email [email protected].

This policy covers this marketing website and enquiries sent to us. It does not cover external websites linked from here or the operation of a product evaluation environment.

When you visit this website

This website does not use analytics, advertising trackers or cookies. If you choose a light or dark theme, the choice is stored in your browser on your device and is not sent to us.

Our hosting provider may record technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested in server logs. This supports the legitimate interest of keeping the website secure and reliable.

When you contact us

The enquiry form prepares an email draft or lets you copy your enquiry to your device’s clipboard. It does not send your details to us or save them in a website database. You review and send the email yourself.

When you email us about a project, VioGraph, supplier onboarding or working with us, we receive the information you choose to send. This may include your name, email address, organisation, role, requirements or CV. We use it to respond and discuss your enquiry.

Our lawful basis for responding to business enquiries is our legitimate interest in running the business. Where we take steps at your request before entering a contract, or fulfil a contract with you, we rely on that contractual basis where it applies. We also keep records where required by law.

Please do not include passwords, sensitive personal information or confidential client data in an initial enquiry.

How long we keep information

Enquiries that do not lead to further work are deleted within 12 months. Where we work together, we keep correspondence and contract records for the duration of the relationship and for six years afterwards for legal and accounting purposes.

Who receives it

We use providers of business email, document storage and website hosting to operate the business. They may process information on our behalf. We do not sell personal information or share it with third parties for their marketing. We may disclose information where the law requires it.

Your rights and how to object

Depending on the circumstances and the basis for processing, you can ask for access to your information, correction, deletion, restriction of processing or a portable copy. You can also object to processing based on legitimate interests. Email [email protected] to make a request or raise a concern.

You can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. The ICO explains your data protection rights and how to raise a complaint.

Changes to this policy

We will update this policy and its date when the way we use personal information changes.
