- Incident investigation and repetitive tasks were taking time from the operations team. The organisation wanted to introduce AI assistance into its day-to-day work.
- Approach
- AWS DevOps Agent was connected to the cloud environment, delivery pipelines and monitoring so it could help investigate incidents and carry out operational tasks. The work was delivered inside the operations team as the first of a planned set of agents.
- Result
- The agent is deployed and in use by the operations team. Further agents are planned.

Legacy applications moved to Kubernetes

- More than a hundred legacy applications ran on ageing infrastructure. The department needed them on a platform its own teams could run, change and scale.
- Approach
- Working inside the department’s engineering teams, we moved the applications onto Kubernetes with automated releases and infrastructure defined in code. Monitoring covered the application estate. Event-driven components were introduced where they suited the applications.
- Result
- More than a hundred applications ran on Kubernetes with releases managed through GitLab. The department’s own teams owned and operated the applications.
